A fabulous set of early to mid-1800’s Victorian Mahogany Mechanical Fireside Bellows.
Beautifully aged mahogany body having quality cast brass cogs and wheels.
Substantial handle with hole for hanging.
Makers name of Maccano cast on the central hub.
All internal workings are intact with the only restoration being the replacement of the outer drive rope.
A wonderful, characterful display item in full working order as the maker intended. Although of good construction and substantial, due to age, and it being a little stiff when first starting to wind, I would like to recommend display use only.
