A Delightful Hand Carved and Characterful Decoy Duck.
This beautiful little chap has had a working life and carries the scars to prove it.
Hand painted with some lovely subtle colours. A few small areas have the wood showing through, but the majority of the paint is still present with some lovely detailing.
The condition of this lovely Decoy Duck is better than you would expect considering his age and years of use. I would class him as work worn with aged areas of wood and paint loss, with the scars of a much used hunting item of the 1800's...to me he's absolutely perfect!
