Art Deco Oak Cigarette Barrel by Teofani & Co
A very attractive Tobacciana Collectable from the Jazz Era, from a sought-after maker of the day.
The quality Oak Barrel has a lovely aged colour, chrome fitting and stands on four bun feet. Internally the wooden lining is intact, as is the gold makers label.
Rd No. Design 718525 is also present to the bottom of the wooden lid lining.
Overall a very clean and charming item with wear associated with use and age.
Manufacturers of the celebrated Teofani Cigarettes, established in 1880 Teofani & Co were Turkish Importers suppling major tobacconists, retailers, restaurants and private clubs. Holding numerous Royal Warrants and appointments through Europe. Exhibiting in the Tobacco International Exhibition held in the Horticultural Hall, Westminster 1908.
