Set of 4 Numbered Silver Plated Stirrup Cups in Leather Case
The origin of Stirrup Cups date back to the late 18th Century where hunt riders whilst they were mounted on horseback with their feet in their stirrups, were presented a motivational or celebrational tot before leaving or returning from a hunt.
Presented in a leather case for easy storage whilst at the gallop, each cup is individually numbered for each rider.
The condition is very good with very little signs of age related wear. Polished and ready for collection or delivery to your home.
