Scottish Roe Deer Antler Desk Stand with Hand Blown Amber Inkwell

19th Century Victorian Circa 1870

A very impactful bespoke desk stand of lovely proportion and quality.

A pair of Roe Deer Antlers that have been mounted on a very decorative and detailed naturalistic flora and fauna ormolu stand, complete with a lovely stylised thistle nib wipe (there may have been two originally) displaying on a hardwood base.

The handblown amber glass inkwell has been applied with very unusual and attractive stylised raspberry glass prunts. The turquoise prunts are all in very good condition and contrast beautifully with the amber glass.

This bespoke 150+ year old desk stand is a stunning piece, the wear present is minimal and consistant with its age. Overall in lovely condition and displays exceptionally well.
