Decanter Box - Crossbanded Satinwood & Rosewood 

George III C1790

Rosewood Crossbanded Satinwood Decanter Box. Hinged lid opens to four square heavy hand cut glass spirit bottles with pouring lips and mushroom stoppers; the stoppers are not interchangeable as they are each bespoke to the individual decanters, two stoppers having slight damage, but they still display exceptionally well. The whole interior is lined in olive green velvet.
This heavy box is outlined throughout with ebony and boxwood string with an ebony escutcheon.
