Late Victorian Irish Card Table with Chinoiserie Detailing
A traditional C1900 walnut veneered card table standing on cabriole legs with acanthus carving to the top, terminating at impressive ball and claw feet. Having a back leg that swings out for the table top rest.
On opening, the table has a baize surface (recently renewed) and the counter wells and candle rests are highlighted unusually in a black lacquer chinoiserie, predominantly oriental scenes in shades of emerald green and gold.
