A Beautifully Cast Hanging Wall Mirror by William Tonks & Son
This is a very attractive, gilt, skilfully cast brass mirror. Displaying an intricate pierced and ornate design detailing and array of beautifully composed Masks and Mythical Creatures.
This beautiful ornate hanging wall mirror was made by a renowned maker of the Victorian era William Tonks & Son and carries a Victorian Registration Diamond for the year Circa1880.
The bevelled mirror is in very good condition, the castings have no losses, and the gilded surfaces only shows the lightest of wear, remarkable considering the age.
Overall, this mirror is in exceptionally good condition for its 100+ year age.
