A very attractive Rosewood Veneer Vanity Jewellery Box with a Sprung Side Drawer.

A comprehensive set of crystal jars with silver plated tops.

Good working lock and original key.

Original crimson velvet and silk interior.
Mother of pearl inset to the center of the lid with matching eschucheon.                            There is a ruched velvet fronted document wallet set within the lid released by a brass swing catch.
Removable tray with recessed rise and fall metal lifting handles. Lifts out to access a larger storage area below.

The sprung side drawer is divided into three sections and is silk lined, secured with a brass pin accessible only when the lid is open.

Sympathetically refurbished where required to a high standard throughout.
The exterior veneer is intact and of good quality. At 100+ years old there is as expected some signs of age ware, but it is light for a used item of this era.
