A Beautifully Styled Brass Art Nouveau Dinner Gong
This is a larger than usual Table Gong, very good quality and heavily cast.
Stands on four sturdy legs.
The Gong does have very fine traces of an etched makers mark on the back but it is now unreadable.
Original Brass Handled Hammer with solid felt pad.
Great tone, and an efficient way of calling the troops to dinner.

Age/Era: 1895 - 1920, C19th (Art Nouveau)
The condition of this Art Nouveau Gong is very good, the felt hammer has a couple of small bruised areas which I can only assume have been caused by over enthusiastic gonging!
The related wear is very light considering the 100+ year age.
