Hukin & Heath Silver Plated Naturalistic Leaf Toast Rack
A very elegant naturalistic leaf design base standing on three branch style feet, the same branch styling forms the hoops for the toast holders. Lovely decorative twisted handle with a well defined decorative leaf on the top.
Hukin & Heath, most probably this toast rack dates from the time they collaborated with Dr Christopher Dresser, they registered his designs from 1878 until at least 1881, with his designs being produced into the early 1900's.
Hukin & Heath's Trademark 'H & H' with an eagle are clearly marked to the base of this lovely Toast Rack with Design No. 7935, Rd. No. 18870 to the top front lip of the leaf.
The condition overall is very clean and the silver plate is very good.
