A design inspired from Greek mythology:
Calla lilies are said to come from goddess Hera, the wife of Zeus.
In the story, Zeus brought his son Hercules to feed from his wife while she was sleeping. Hera awoke and pushed the baby away from her. Drops of milk flew across the sky creating the milky way and everywhere they landed on earth, calla lilies bloomed.
Focussing entirely on the incredible organic shapes of the leaves and flowers alone, Vicky has created a stunning tribute to this revered flower.
